Rooted in People. Driven by Purpose

Hi, I’m Elise Hart, the soul behind Field & Fold—a journal of quiet comforts, thoughtful living, and the beauty found in life’s gentlest corners.

I’ve always felt most alive in the in-between moments—the golden hush before dusk, the steam curling from a morning mug, the crinkle of linen sheets after a long day. I’m not here to chase trends or perfection. I’m here to notice, to gather, and to hold space for what truly matters.

Field & Fold is my way of capturing the texture of life—recipes that feel like memories, slow travels that stir the heart, and little routines that ground the soul. Sometimes that looks like baking something simple and warm. Other times, it’s wandering through a forest path with no destination, just presence.

I’m not an expert or influencer. I’m simply someone who believes that the smallest things—an old recipe, a soft light, a handwritten note—carry the deepest meaning. I believe in rhythm over rush, depth over display, and living a life that feels, more than it looks.

If you find beauty in the ordinary too, I hope you’ll stay a while. Let’s gather stories, fold them gently into our days, and find stillness in the simple—together.
