Have you ever opened your 迷你倉 personal storage space unit only to be in the jungle of boxes, entangled cords and mystery bags? You’re not alone. The arrangement of a small space can resemble a maze and you do not have a glimpse of the image on the box. However, with some smart tricks, you can convert such a mess to an easy-to-manage, neat space that you would even look forward to accessing.

Begin with an obvious principle–vertical is essential. Pile required floor to ceiling stack boxes, but do not simply stack them randomly. Put the heaviest on the bottom, and the light and delicate stuff towards the top. Consider it to be like creating a cake, you do not want the icing layer to be squashed at the bottom. Clear plastics are more superior to cardboard. You are able to look in without playing the box shuffle.
Next up: label everything. You may believe that you will recall where you left that winter coat or blender. You won’t. There is a conspicuous label on both sides which spares you the trouble of being frustrated later. Extra credit in case you colour-code, so that your home stuff is red (blue office stuff, yellow sentimental stuff, etc.)
Supermarkets are not the only ones with aisles. Prepare a walking path in between your unit. You may think that you are wasting space initially, but you later will be glad you did so when you need to access the back, you do not have to climb mountain Boxmore.
Use every odd corner. Your secret weapons are hooks, hanging shelves and stackable crates. Slap your folding chairs up, hide that ladder in the hall, and get the walls to suit you. Small spaces can become small storage heroes even with a pegboard.
